Pottery Smash Winter Sale Info

Below are some things about curbside pickup, shipping, my email address, and my studio address. Please refer to these for guidance in how this specific sale will operate. By purchasing my pottery during this sale, you are agreeing to abide by the information stated below.

I’m local, can I do curbside pickup? Absolutely:

  • Saturday, December 5th 2020, from 10am-4pm.
  • Sunday, December 6th 2020, from 12pm-4pm.

How should I let you know when I am coming to pick up my purchases?

Thanks for asking! During the checkout process online through my website, look for the box that says “Order Notes” and add in the specified date and time you will be coming to pick up your order. You will see the Order Notes box after you click the “Proceed to Checkout” button in the checkout process.

Although I will be home during the stated pickup times, I am also a stay-home father and may be changing a diaper, playing Old Maid, or setting up a fab marble run for my kiddos. Just sayin’. In order to make sure I have your order ready to go when you get here, it would be most appreciated if you had an idea of when you will be coming by.

Where do I pick up my pottery purchases?

1791 County Road E W, New Brighton, MN 55112

This is my studio address. If you find that google has you headed to Arden Hills via google maps, you are not heading to my pottery in New Brighton. Make sure Google is leading you to the right place. New Brighton.

Curbside Delivery Parking

Please park on the north east side of Oakwood Drive, along my side yard. You will see freestanding steps up my hill and there will be a sign in my yard to note the online pottery sale happening so you will know which house it is. Refer to my studio address above for the exact address. We will not be making new sales, but fulfilling orders. You may even get to meet one of my helpful children or my beautiful wife, too! In most circumstances, you will not need to exit your vehicle (we will try to keep an eye out for you).

In the event you don’t think you’ve been noticed, please feel free to come up the stairs and knock on our back door (the one with wood deck entrance). I apologize if this happens, but we may be parenting or getting lunch ready, etc.

What if I cannot pick up my purchases in the allotted dates and times?

If you cannot make the pickup times I have available, your other option is to ship. Please select the shipping option during checkout if you cannot make the dates and times for curbside pickup.

Shipping Charges

Calculating shipping is a boon. I find it very difficult because each piece of pottery is different and fragile to ship. Because of this, many shipping charges will seem expensive. Well, it costs a lot to ship pottery, unfortunately.

However, if I find that the shipping charge is egregiously over-priced when I go to the post office to ship it out, I will refund you the difference. Additionally, if the shipping was vastly underpriced, expect an email from me explaining such, and expect to pay a bit more. I calculate my shipping costs per item, so if you are buying multiple items that I can easily group together without harm, I will do so and of course refund you, so long as it is significantly overpriced. And thanks in advance for understanding.
